The aim of this course is to help participants to develop a working knowledge of basic project finance principles, why it is used, and how it is used.
Participants will learn the elements necessary to support the use of project finance, including: contractual agreements, technology, sponsors, risk identification and mitigation, sources of capital, financial structuring, accounting considerations, tax considerations and financial analysis & evaluation
After successful completion of this course, the participants should be able to:
Demonstrate an understanding of the role of project finance in project management;
Demonstrate the ability to differentiate between the main types of project financing;
Demonstrate an understanding of modern project financing;
